Do I need to create an account in order to sign up for a class or buy classes?

In order to purchase classes and sign up for a class you must create an account first.

What do I need to bring with me?

Please bring a water bottle, indoor training shoes, and whatever else you like to have with you while you workout.

What should I wear?

Wear whatever you are most comfortable exercising in.

Do I need to bring my own shoes?

You can bring your own cycling shoes if you like. Indoor cycling shoes will also be provided for you at the studio if you need free of charge. Please bring indoor training shoes to use in the strength and conditioning studio.

Do cycling shoes really make a difference?

Yes. Cycling shoes will help you secure your feet to the pedals and will make a difference in your pedal stroke by engaging different muscle groups.

Are there lockers available?

We have 90+ lockers equipped with built in locks for your use

Are there change rooms/showers?

There are 4 separate and private handicap accessible washrooms, each equipped with a toilet, sink, and shower for your use.

Will towels be provided?

Exercise towels and shower towels will be available for you to use.

I don’t think I am as fit as most people, will I still be able to take a class?

Each class at Ignite is able to be modified to all fitness levels and abilities. Everyone is welcome and will be accommodated. If you have a specific injury that needs to be accommodated please let your instructor know ahead of time.

Can I participate in a class if I am pregnant?

Yes. If there are any specific circumstances regarding your pregnancy please consult your physician before participating.

I’ve never ridden an indoor cycling bike before, how do I know how to set it up?

Please show up 15 minutes before class and an instructor will help you set up your bike. Please watch this video with information on how to set up the bike before your first class.

Can I share classes on my account with other people?

Yes. You can only share classes from a Class Pack, NOT a Membership. Ensure that the person you want to share with has created their own account, then you can transfer a class from your account to theirs.

What is the cancellation policy?

You must cancel a minimum of 6 hours before the class start time or your account will be charged. We want to make sure that our participants can take the classes they want to so please be respectful of this and cancel ahead of time so they can be taken off the waitlist.

How early do I need to show up for class?

Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your class is scheduled to start to allow yourself time to change, set up your bike, prepare for the class, and catch up with you friends/favourite instructors.

What happens if I am late for class or if I have to leave early?

If you are running late please call the studio to let your instructor know you will be late. If you need to leave a class early please let your instructor know ahead of time.
